One of the primary functions of Horizon Integrator is to provide telephony integration between the end-users telephone system and their preferred business application. Common implementations of integration include features such as "Click to dial", "Caller preview" and "Contact popping". Mondago already partner with many developers to provide telephony integration with their application.
There are two common ways of providing integration:
An Add-in is a program that is written to link the Horizon Integrator client to a specific business application.
The Add-in is included with and configured from within the Horizon Integrator client and provides a range of pre-set integration features including Caller Preview, Contact Popping, Contact Searching, Activity Logging and Click to Dial. These features are described in more detail here.
An Add-in is written and managed by Mondago and typically utilizes partner APIs available with their application.
This method provides access to the Horizon Integrator client API making simple telephony events, actions and information available to the Application.
This option allows you to design and add your own integration features.
You don't specifically have to partner with Mondago to take advantage of our integration methods. For example, we often write add-ins based on end customer requests, or you can use the SDK from the download links available from this page. However, there are some significant benefits to signing up as a partner.
